There are three initial steps in order to take the exam for Toledo Fire.
STEP 1
Complete Toledo Fire and Rescue Network form below.
STEP 2
Create an account with the City of Toledo through governmentjobs.com and apply for the position of Toledo Fire & Rescue.

STEP 3
To schedule your written test (FireTeam) and your physical test (Firefighter Mile) go to the National Testing Network and Click Exams.
Then Click Firefighter.
Exam scheduling fills up quick. It is advisable not to wait until September to schedule and take the exam as testing sites fill up quickly.

*Candidates who attain a passing score on the entry level exam will be placed on the department's eligibility list and will be contacted by the City of Toledo as they qualify to move further in the selection process.
